Yesterday Ms. Chrysaigi Papadogianni /DEYAX declared her inability to attend the full Board meeting to present her views on this urgent issue. We hope she will respond to the written request of the Citizen's Advocate and provide the missing Environmental Impact Study (E.I.S.). Which she assured Ms. Emilia Liaska, representative lawyer of Citizen's Advocate, existed in a ZIP file. This was mentioned to us also by Ms. H Hatzidakis along with Mr. M Haspakis on our visit to DEYAX on 29/11/2022: there was an electronic zip file and they would provide us with it after we applied to the protocol. We did so, but to date the E.I.S. remains missing. This is in violation with the law of a 20-day delivery term of documents to a citizen with a vested interest, a law which we alerted them of on our initial visit.
Today we published a letter of the Citizen's Advocate to DEYAX in the local media dated 30/1/2023, which among other things requests the immediate delivery of the zip file of the Environmental Impact Study of the biological plant Koumbelis and sub-projects included, - to date DEYAX through Ms. Chrysavgi Papadogiannis has not responded.
In conclusion the situation in DEYAX is grotesque and a way should be found perhaps with training seminars etc. to immediately restore the rule of law and respect for the leadership of DEYAX in its relationship and communication with the citizen.
